As a man of faith, my mind immediately goes to the Word of God, but the people I saw the movie with weren’t exactly biblical scholars and a few of them weren’t any parts of Christian. There are plenty of places in the Bible where God is refered to as unchanging, unmoved, everlasting, the same yesterday, today, and forever. I always side with good ( because God is good ). He never changed his stance ( like God being unchanged ). Batman, on the other hand, could not be corrupted. Stealing, killing, and destroying things ( like the devil ). In the movie, I saw the Joker as the unstoppable force because he was constantly causing trouble and chaos. ![]() ![]() I’ve asked all of them which would they rather be and every one of them gave the same answer…unstoppable force. I saw this movie with 10 other people and no one thought it was that deep of a statement until I brought it up ( because that’s what I do…lol ). ![]() The Joker was definitely speaking figuratively ( Batman was able to move around fine and the Joker eventually got locked up). I want everyone to know that this is not a literal statement. “This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object” Quote from the Joker in “The Dark Knight”
